What do I need to register?

You'll need a valid international passport or driver's licence, a utility bill, your National Identification Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN), along with any other information requested during the onboarding process.

Can I register with my voter's card?

A voter's card is not currently accepted as an identity document for Foren's Nigerian onboarding process. You'll need to provide one of the accepted identity documents and the required NIN and BVN details.

Does sharing my BVN give Foren access to my bank accounts?

No. Your BVN is used to verify your identity. Providing your BVN does not give Foren access to your accounts with other banks.

What can I use as proof of address?

You may be asked for a recent bank statement or utility bill, such as an electricity bill.

The document must meet the requirements shown in the app.

Can I open a business account in Nigeria?

Yes. Foren supports individual and business customers in Nigeria, subject to the applicable onboarding requirements.

Which currency accounts can I hold?

The currencies available to you depend on your eligibility and the products available in Nigeria.

Foren supports currencies including Nigerian Naira (NGN), US Dollar (USD), and British Pound (GBP), subject to the requirements for each account.

Is Foren regulated in Nigeria?

Yes, Foren has subsidiaries in Nigeria that are regulated by the CBN in Nigeria.
